Mark Tarrant, 7th Dan, is the Chief Instructor of the Mountain States, as well as a member of the ISKF Technical Commitee. Sensei Tarrant is a former US National Champion and international competitor who won many medals over his competition career.

Bruce Green, 8th Dan, has been training since 1970 and is a long-time protégé of Sensei Yaguchi. Mr. Green is an A-certified instructor, examiner, and judge, and a founding member of the ISKF National Collegiate Karate Association. He was also a member of the ISKF U.S. team in 1981 and 1982.

Holds a BS Degree in Computer Science from the CU at Boulder and worked for many years at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Erica, 2nd Dan, and has trained under both ISKF and JKA in Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma. Began karate in 2006 and has been teaching in various capacities since 2012. Manuel ‘Manny’ Matos, 2nd Dan, started martial art in 1982 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His first style was Tae-Kwon-do, followed by Jeet-kun-do, then began practicing Shotokan for the last 20 years.
